Holiday Band was started in the summer of 2009 by four dudes that have been playing in bands for a number of years but never in the same band. Until now. Mike Dixon (Prayer Breakfast, Rapider Than Horsepower), Matt Tobey (Good Luck, Matty Pop Chart), Mike Bridavsky (Push-Pull), and Josh Morrow (Impure Jazz) play catchy, upbeat and refreshingly original jams, mostly in D minor (the saddest key ever), using 3 guitars (one of which has the bottom three strings sent to a bass synth and amp via MIDI pickup, and the top three to a guitar amp), a bass drum, snare, floor tom, high hats and a ride. Its pretty good.
